We have released IP Address Restriction, which lets each company limit access to the admin console to the IP addresses it specifies.

Background

Until now, the HireRoo admin console could be accessed from any network once you signed in.

IP Address Restriction is designed for situations where information security policies require that business systems be used only from allowed networks, such as your corporate network or VPN.

For details, see Setting Up IP Address Restriction.

What's New

Register the IP addresses to allow

Open "IP address restriction" under "Security" in the company settings to register the IPv4 addresses allowed to access the admin console. You can enter a single address or a range in CIDR notation.

Restrict access from networks that are not allowed

If the admin console is accessed from an IP address that is not in the allow list, "Access from this network is not allowed" is shown and the admin console cannot be used.

Prevent administrators from locking themselves out

The allow list cannot exclude the IP address you are currently accessing from, so a configuration mistake will not lock the administrator out of the admin console.

Scope

  • The restriction applies to access to the admin console by members of your company. The candidate test screen is not restricted.
  • Only members with Admin permission can configure IP address restriction.

Available Plans

IP Address Restriction is available on the Enterprise Plan.
