HireRoo offers three services for measuring engineering skills: Skill Interview for hiring, Skill Assessment, which measures the AI Collaboration Skills of your engineers from their daily work, and Skill Development, in which your members take internal tests.

Skill Interview

Candidates take a coding test in the HireRoo exam environment, and you evaluate the results in a report. It can also be used for live coding and interviews.

Skill Assessment

Skill Assessment continuously measures AI Collaboration Skills from the usage logs of the AI tools your engineers already use (Claude Code and Codex CLI). Engineers do not need to move to a special editor or exam environment; they simply keep using their usual AI tools.

Skill Development

You assign internal tests to members, who take them on the HireRoo exam screen. Internal tests can include AI Collaboration format questions, including questions your company creates. Results can be evaluated with your company's own skill index.

A Shared Evaluation Framework

All three services use SEI (Software Engineering Index) as a shared evaluation framework. AI Collaboration format reports, Skill Assessment measurement results, and internal test results can all be reviewed on the same "AI Collaboration Skills" axes. As a result, the indicators you review during hiring connect directly to the indicators you review after an engineer joins.
