Test cases can now be run on system design format issues Release date: 12/15/2022

Background

We have been receiving requests from companies to improve the system design format, which does not allow test cases to be executed as in the Algorithm and Practice formats, and candidates cannot get feedback while solving the problem.

Overview

With this release, candidates will be able to execute test cases in the system design format by clicking the button in the red frame of the image below.

The result of the test case execution is determined by whether or not there is a graph structure in the candidate's flowchart that satisfies the condition. If the test case execution fails, a hint message is displayed as feedback.

We will continue to make improvements to the system design format, including improving the quality of the questions.
