Create Live Coding

The Live Coding feature allows candidates and interviewers to complete the test online at the same time, qualitatively assessing communication and thinking skills compared to a homework-style test. Video calls and chats can also be made within HireRoo's live coding feature.

The creation procedure is as follows

1. Click the "+" button in the lower right corner of the home screen or "Create Interview" from the "Interview List" page.
2. Fill in the required information on the Create Interview screen. Click "Next" after entering the information.
   
   • Interview Title
   • Candidate Name
   • Notes (optional)
     
     • This information will not be shared with the candidate
   • View Permissions (optional)
     

     • Only authorized members can view the interview. If not specified, all members of the company will be able to view the interview.

   • Tags (optional)
     
     • Tags can be specified when filtering the interview list and narrowing down the population in the report screen.
3. On the Question Selection screen, select the questions to be submitted.
   
   • When filtering by question type, select "Live Coding" to filter for only live coding questions.
     
     • Currently, no official questions are available, but if you create your original question, it will be displayed. Please click here to learn more about creating original questions.
     • Official questions will be added in due course.
   • When selecting a problem, a list will be created in the "Selected Problems" column.
   • You can load questions from previous interviews by clicking on "Select from History".
   • Question selection is optional; questions can be added during the live coding session.
     
     • If you do not select any questions, you can use a blank editor to perform the live coding. During the interview, you can freely select either coding or system design format questions, and the candidate can answer them using a blank editor.
   •  On the confirmation screen, confirm the content and click "Save" to create the interview.
     
     • Copy the link from the interview details page and share it with the candidate to conduct the interview.
