Once you have been invited to take a coding test by a company you are considering, you can proceed with the test by following the steps below.
Start the test
- By opening the link shared by the person in charge in your browser, you will be redirected to a page with "Test Summary" displayed at the top.
- After thoroughly reviewing the test overview and precautions, enter your name, email address, and other information necessary to start the test, and click the "Start Test" button to begin the test.
- Please be sure to check the "Message from the company" in the test outline before starting the test, as it may be related to your answers.
- Once you start the test, you must complete the test within the time limit. Please allocate sufficient time before taking the test.
- It is possible to take the demo test before starting the actual test. Once you are familiar with the tool, you can conduct the real test.
Conducting the test
- Tutorials are prepared for each question type. Click "Start Tutorial" in the upper left corner of the page, and you will be shown how to use the tool.
- Please refer to the following explanations on how to conduct the test for each question format.
- After submitting a question, you will be automatically redirected to the next question. Please solve as many questions as possible.
End of test
- The test ends in the following state.
- Press the "Exit Test" button in the upper right corner of the screen
- The time limit becomes zero.
- The interviewer will be automatically notified when the test is over.
- You will not be contacted through HireRoo with the results of the test pass/fail decision. After taking the test, please wait for a contact from a representative of the selecting company.
